Hi, I’m Will.

This is where I keep notes from running a few small servers and building this site: the commands I had to look up twice, the fixes that took longer than they should have, and the checks I now run before changing anything.

The technical notes are written to be reused. Each one starts with what the problem looks like, checks things read-only first, then makes the change and shows how to confirm it worked. Version-specific details are checked against the official documentation, and each post links the docs it relies on.

After Hours is the other half: short pieces about trains, rain, small shops, and ordinary technology behaving strangely.
